' Super Meter ' is the largest Fare meter manufacturing Company in India. During the last few years. Super Meter
has expanded the market not only throughout India but overseas also. The company also manufactures meters according
to client's specifications.
Late Mr. R.R. Chinta started his career in 1964 as a Bench Fitter with M/s. Diamond Clock Mfg. Co. at Mundhwa, Pune.
Thereafter in 1970 he developed a fare meter with his own brand name and marketed the same throughout India.
He was honored with the "Udyog Patra" award at the hands of the then Vice President of India Mr. Shankar Dayal
Sharma on the 8th of June 1989.
Later in 1993, he took over the Meter manufacturing unit of M/s. Diamond Clock Mfg. Co.,where he was previously
working as a bench fitter and Super Meter Mfg.Co., came into existence which is now a major meter
manufacturing company in India.
He had also bagged the dealership of Bajaj Auto Ltd. which is the largest two and three wheeler automobile manufacturing
company in India, under the name of Surya Automobiles.
